The Invisible Man
BACKGROUND:
Often individuals that are in abusive relationships aren’t taken seriously when they say they’re being abused by a partner. Close friends and family doubt them and often imply their situation can't be that bad.
CHALLENGE:
How can we shed light that the "Invisible Man" is a metaphor for the experience that individuals in abusive relationships go through?
INSIGHT:
Those that are in an abusive relationship might appear “fine,” but behind closed doors, they’re trying to survive.
IDEA:
By partnering with the Canadian Women’s Foundation, the film will produce a series of exclusive nighttime bus shelter/out of home ads that display a “normal film poster.” When it gets darker outside and lights hit the ad, a darker reality is revealed.
